Forum Bleu d’Afrique Centrale (FOBAC 2026)

11–14 November 2026 • Libreville, Gabon

As Central Africa's leading regional gathering for marine conservation professionals, Street Whale–FOBAC brings together scientists, managers, policymakers, practitioners, conservation bodies, community leaders, and students committed to ocean knowledge and sustainable coastal governance.

We welcome regional and multidisciplinary submissions addressing: marine and coastal biodiversity, endangered species, marine protected areas (MPAs), sustainable fisheries, mangroves and estuaries, marine pollution, climate change and blue carbon, tracking technologies, ocean governance, sustainable blue economy, and community-led approaches.

🎓 Special Encouragement: Students, PhD candidates, and early-career researchers are strongly encouraged to submit their work.

Key Submission Guidelines

  • Accepted Languages: Français et Anglais.
  • Title length: 50 caractères maximum.
  • Length of Abstract: 100 à 350 mots (contexte, méthode, résultats, conclusion).
  • Keywords: Maximum 5 mots-clés séparés par des virgules.
  • Presentation Formats: Présentation orale (10 min + 2 min Q&R) ou Poster / Affiche.
  • Peer Review: Sélection anonyme par le comité scientifique international.
